Amsterdam 2015

IMG_3913

I titled this post as Amsterdam 2015 because heaven knows I’ll be back. This trip was a brand new experience for me as it was the first time I have traveled one on one with a friend. Luckily, I got to chose which one. 😉 Ludovica (who I’ve been staying with in Italy) joined me on this mini trip and I’m so glad she did. Amsterdam is one heck of a city!

Ludo’s blind trust reached a new level when I suggested we stay in a hostel. If you’ve read my previous post about hostels, then you know they can get pretty gnarly if you’re not careful. Thankfully, our hostel was wonderful! It was actually a hotel with a *ahem* youth section. Which is hilarious because all of our roommates were 28 years old or older! I totally spaced taking pictures of the inside, but I snagged some from their website. These were EXTREMELY nice accommodations!

Ludo shares my spirit of adventure which left no time for dull memories. Since five days worth of itinerary is a lot to write to read, I’ll just include the highlights from our trip. 🙂 We met a lovely British girl named Kate who explored with us for one day. She had NEVER had frozen yogurt (Menchies, Froyo, Orange Leaf, etc) so we fixed that real quick. In no particular order…

After 5 amazing days, we have now returned to Italy where we will enjoy another week or so before I’m off to Switzerland. Sending my love to all of you!
