The blog has been quiet for the last few months, so I wanted to put out a quick life update for myself and Beyond Utah. I’ve got some exciting projects in the works that will be unveiled soon enough!
Here’s an update on what’s happened in my life since January:
JANUARY: Posted a roundup of my top 10 moments from 2016. You can read that here.
FEBRUARY: I went on a trip to Zion National Park + Las Vegas. I was graciously hosted by Zion View Bed + Breakfast. I highly recommend them to anyone visiting southern Utah! Las Vegas was equally incredible. My friend Audrey and I got to see Zedd (a famous DJ) for FREE!

MARCH: I spent spring break in Paris! I cried at the airport because I was so happy to be back. I have a feeling that it’s going to be a habitual thing. I filmed a vlog in Paris and tacked it onto my YouTube video on what you should pack in your carry-on! Check it out below or click here.

MAY: I graduated with high honors from Utah Valley University! I now have an Associates Degree in University Studies.
JUNE: I celebrated my 22nd birthday! This year was low-key but it was nice to spend it among friends.
JULY: I redesigned the blog! This is preparation for all my upcoming projects. Hopefully you all love it as much as I do!
Here’s what’s going on in the near future:
AUGUST: I’m going back to Paris!!! Also I’ll be spending a few days in Geneva, Switzerland. How do I afford to travel this much? I’m glad you asked. 😉 Two years ago I wrote “How I Afford to Travel.” And I’m thrilled to be publishing Version 2.0 at the beginning of August. Keep your eyes peeled for that! I’ll also be publishing two other blog posts before the end of July.

ALSO IN AUGUST: My very first Instagram giveaway! I’m currently working on coordinating with other influencers to make this as fun as possible! It’s something I’ve wanted to do for my blog followers for ages! Stay tuned!!
ALSO IN AUGUST: I’ll be starting the last year of university at the University of Utah! I’m very excited to attend this prestigious institution and to FINALLY finish school! (Until my Master’s).

OCTOBER: ¡Voy a Havana! I’ve been awarded two scholarships to study abroad in Cuba over fall break. Cuba will be country #23 for me and I’m so excited to explore this complex and beautiful country. And that’s about it for me! Like I said, there’s a couple projects in the works so this down time has actually been work time. I’m excited to see the direction this blog takes and hope you all will tag along with me.
